ABOUT ME

Dr. Rebecca White graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2002 with a bachelors degree in history.  After trying a few different career options she decided to marry her love of horses with her job and go to vet school.  Becca graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2014 and then completed a year-long internship with an equine practice in Southern Pines, NC.

Enjoying the temperate climate in North Carolina, Dr. White looked for employment opportunities in the area and joined Eastern Equine Associates in New Bern, NC where she was an associate for four years. During this time Dr. White developed a strong interest in equine lameness and a passion for helping sport horses stay happy and healthy in their jobs, which led her to extra training in acupuncture and chiropractic .  She completed the Options For Animals school of animal chiropractic course in 2016 and received her certification through the AVCA (American Veterinary Chiropractic Association) in 2019. She also completed the Equine Acupuncture course at the Chi Institute in 2017.

In the summer of 2019, Becca relocated back to her home state of Maine, decided to focus on her acupuncture and chiropractic training, and started Integrative Veterinary Solutions.

Becca is originally from a rural town in central Maine where she grew up competing in the lower levels of eventing and dressage.  She also taught riding lessons and schooled young horses under saddle. Currently, she enjoys working with her young mare, hiking with her dog, cycling, running, and generally enjoying the Maine outdoors.  Becca lives with her husband Dana, dog Manny, and cat Thomas in mid-coast Maine.
